Visitors, Brothers and Friends, the Grand Lodge of Minnesota, well over 150 years old, is justly proud of the work of Freemasons throughout the state. For centuries, our ancient Craft here and around the world has been dedicated to the principles of Political Freedom, Religious Tolerance and Personal Integrity.
Lake Harriet's website is a fine introduction to this good work. I recommend without reservation any of their programs and events as they are one of our best lodges. You can also find information about Masonry on the Grand Lodge (state) website, or on web pages maintained by many of our other lodges - find them on the Links page at left. Minnesota boasts almost 160 lodges scattered throughout the Land of 10,000 Lakes. Each offers a unique program and wonderful camraderie for those good men who seek to improve themselves and their families and, with others, improve their communities. To get involved, look for current and upcoming events and join us! Investigate further; you are welcome to view freely our educational materials and many program resources posted here. Many of our events are open to visitors, and we always welcome honest inquiries from our neighbors.
If you are not a Freemason, you’ll find extensive information here on what we do, who we are and how to become a member of the greatest fraternity on earth. Please contact us if you’d like more information.
On behalf of the 15,000 Masons of Minnesota, I bid you a hearty welcome!
Thomas C. Jackson
Grand Master, 2008-2009
