Bro. Karl was raised at Lake Harriet Lodge #277 in August of 2005.  He has served the Lodge as Junior Deacon in 2007 and in 2008 as the Lodge's Junior Warden. After serving a deployment in Iraq, Karl takes the Senior Warden's chair in the West for 2010.

Bro. Karl lives with his wife, Becky, and daughter, Greta (one year old), in southwest Minneapolis.  He works as the Assistant Legal Advisor for the 34th Infantry Division of the Minnesota Army National Guard and expects to deploy to Iraq in early 2009.  In his spare time, he likes to run, read and watch baseball.
