This will be a very busy evening, and we start early. Tonight's degrees are not part of the "full cycle" if you are taking all the degrees this spring.
If you are taking or observing the Scottish Rite Degrees VIA THE SHORT FORM, or "REUNION" this cycle, join us at Franklin and Dupont Avenues So. for a performance of the 4th and the 14th Degrees. These are beautiful ceremonies.
To explain further, this day is the first of half of our annual "Reunion" or One-Day Classes for the Scottish Rite. These allow quick entrance to the Scottish Rite, where you are later encouraged to visit as your schedule permits to see the rest of the degrees. For either format, candidates may request to enter the Scottish Rite via the One Day or full degree program by petitioning (forms available HERE).
The 'terminal' or key degrees are: 4th, 14th, 18th, 30th and 32nd - "Terminal" meaning essential for advancement to the next group of degrees within the Scottish Rite.
We call this a "One Day" event, but it actually takes place on two dates: For those petitioners joining with the abbreviated schedule starting with the 4th and 14th held today, the 18th, 30th, and 32nd will be performed two days from now on Saturday, April 27th (Note, the 32nd Degree has been moved to Thursday, May 2nd). Dinner today begins at 4:30PM, with registration opening at 4:00PM. The 4th Degree will start about 6PM and the 14th Degree at about 7PM.
The office phone number is (612) 871-1500, should you have questions.
